While the Ashbory may never be as popular as certain other instruments as far as inspiring "wearables," I was thinking that we could create some of our own. CafePress allows printing items -- including a variety of T-shirts and other gear -- on an as ordered basis.

I would suggest doing this as a "community thing," setting it up so it's basically at cost. CafePress store managers can set their own prices, adding as much as they like to the base, or selling at cost.

I am not sure where Brock got the home page picture, but designs could be created from that using photoshop. I would be happy to provide a few samples if the image is available.

Is anyone else interested? It's just an idea, if anyone else would like to show Ashbory loyalty on their backs.

Sounds like a good idea. I want Ashbory wear!

Kelly just got an embroidering machine from my grandmother and we've been thinking about doing up some Large Sound stuff (and some stuff for my Rickshaw blog at http://www.RickshawSeason.com ).

The photos on this site were for the most part taken by Kelly or myself. That's me on the home page. I photoshopped in the DeArmond after I got it.

For the first 3 years or so I was randomly rotating between the DeArmond and the Guild. Here's the picture of the Guild (taken not too long after the G snapped):

Has anyone had Cafepress stuff, like shirts? How well do they hold up?

I'll buy shirts. Not white ones. Cafepress wears well IMO. Cheers, Julie
