It was the double bass kind of sound that attacted me to the Ashbory. So looking through the other threads I bought:
Nut INSERT INTO `smf2_messages` (`id_msg`, `id_topic`, `id_board`, `poster_time`, `id_member`, `id_msg_modified`, `subject`, `poster_name`, `poster_email`, `poster_ip`, `smileys_enabled`, `modified_time`, `modified_name`, `body`, `icon`)s (see http://www.screwfix.com/search.do;jsessionid=S5LUP5NRQUCTQCSTHZOSFFI?_dyncharset=UTF-8&fh_search=INSERT INTO `smf2_messages` (`id_msg`, `id_topic`, `id_board`, `poster_time`, `id_member`, `id_msg_modified`, `subject`, `poster_name`, `poster_email`, `poster_ip`, `smileys_enabled`, `modified_time`, `modified_name`, `body`, `icon`)+nut)
Some M6 pan head slotted machine screws (12mm but I'd like to try some 15mm when I can find them)
Some flat washers (that I'll use when I get 15mm machine screws)
A 9mm wood drill
A 6mm metal drill
Two large rivets
A music stand (Stagg MUS-A5 BK - see staggmusic.com. I'm not being picky here, on this stand the sheet holder has a wide metal V on the back that slots onto a holder on the music stand)

1st drill off the rivets holding the metal V to the music stand.
2nd mark where this metal v (overall it is square shaped with the raised V in the middle) goes on the
back cover (I've ordered another back cover in case what I've done causes some kind of interference with the electronics, that's once I noticed the the inside of the back plate was covered in some kind of foil)
3rd drill through the back cover.
4th rivet the two bottom holes of the metal plate to the back cover.
5th using the 9mm wood drill drill into either side of the battery compartment.
6th screw in two nut INSERT INTO `smf2_messages` (`id_msg`, `id_topic`, `id_board`, `poster_time`, `id_member`, `id_msg_modified`, `subject`, `poster_name`, `poster_email`, `poster_ip`, `smileys_enabled`, `modified_time`, `modified_name`, `body`, `icon`)s.
7th screw the back cover back on but now with the additional 2 M6 machine screws that will take the weight of the instrument.

I can now use the Ashbory as a guitar or if I want slide it into the holder on the stand, tighten the screw that holds the two together (this is on the stand part) and then I have an upright.
If anyone can tell me how to attach pictures I will.
I felt safe doing this as I have no intention of selling this instrument on.
At some point I'll replace the two rivets with black ones and get some black machine screws as well.
After all looks are everything.
Any thoughts or comments please address to 'I wouldn't have done that because...'
Thanks.
