I've just buy a dearmond ashbory bass with Black tuners... On pictures, they are always white ... Someone can explain me that?

The earliest DeArmond Ashborys didn't have the all-black tuners like they've had since. Here's some old tuners (from http://www.largesound.com/ashboryarticle/mod/strapmove/ ):

Fender's newer Ashbory by Fender pictures have the old tuners on the headstock, but closer examination reveals these are the same images as the old DeArmond promotion pictures with the new logo art photoshopped on.
