 :P

So once again, I'm waiting while my daughter is turning cartwheels and jumping on a trampoline, and I've got my Ashbory with me.

I'd noticed after changing the strings a couple of months back that there was some buzz from the D and G strings, so I decided to rewrap them so that they had a better angle against the nut.

D string detuned, rewrapped and retuned.

G string detuned, rewrapped and retu... *SNAP*

Aw, crap -- it broke pretty much dead center, so I can't even stretch it out and hope to tune it up again.

And just my luck, the tunes I was going to be practicing definitely need the G string.

I've since ordered another full set of strings PLUS an extra G, because I sure don't wanna be playing somewhere and be caught with a broken G-string.

Um, yeah...
