Hey nerds!
get yourself a washtub (no shit!) flip it over and stick your ashbory
on the top ... Wow .... i was goofing off a few days ago this way
and no kidding it sounds cool as all hell! i'm going after it with some
lavaliers and a mixer this afternoon!

a smallish metal washtub works the best. With the washtub top-down
on the floor, lay the ashbory flat against the bottom.
I found it desirable to put some thin fabric between the bass and the washtub (to protect the finish of that beautiful washtub, of course).
you'll also want to keep the ashbory firmly pressed against the washtub,
I find that a little duct tape help to secure it.

wow!! this creates a
DRIPPING WET natural reverberance that adds generously to the
ashbory's double-bass style sound. I plan to see how the ashbory's
dry signal will mix with this!
