Another New Arrival
« on: March 23, 2007, 08:57:23 PM »

What a knock down, blow-out GAS this thing is!!! I love it!  I can't wait to saunter into the next parlor pickin' session with it!  I thought it would take bit of twiddlin' to get a nice String Bass sound...but it the other way around...I had to goof around with the treble and mid on my amp to get anything but.  This is pure string bass through my little Peavey Minx amp (smallest amp I found with a10" speaker).
'just been walking along with old Jazz standards on Yahoo radio...Billie Holliday was impressed...I could tell!!! :-D

Bluegrass, here I come!!!

I play bluegrass a lot here in Ga. Your gonna love it!

I don't know which is more fun...playing the Ashbory, or watching everyones faces when you pull it out of the case (I have a custom hard-shell case for mine). It gives new meaning to the word 'double-take'. Then, the expression on peoples faces when you play it, and they wonder where all that AWESOME bass is comming from.

I am a full-time professional musician. After I got my Ashbory, I sold my Warwick and Fender 5-string P-Bass. I play the Ashbory exclusively now, and couldn't be happier.

If you want a real kick, take it into the studio with you when you record. You're not gonna believe the sound!

I can't imagine why anyone who plays bass would not want one of these.
