just took my ashbory off a guy i work with.. didnt want it. I play acoustic bass with roto sound black nylons and also in a rock blues band.. my p bass and ric and others all have flat wounds. thought this would be interesting since i like the  jamerson motown thud sound. i look foward to taking it out on my first gig just for the reaction of my mates and audience.
