I use Jim Dunlop Jazz iii pick on my Ashbory strung with RoadToad poly' strings. There is enough tension with these strings to get good playability and tone. I find picking 1/4 or 1/8th notes on power ballads sounds ace on an Ashbory.... no doubt its great for picked Dub bass lines and Sting type stuff.
