Greetings from Worcestershire.
« on: May 16, 2008, 04:48:09 PM »

Hello,  Currently I am a uke player but I have been semi pro on a number of instruments over the years.  I teach uke, run a club and a very successful uke jamboree in the UK. Whilst I enjoy the uke it lacks a 'bottom end' so I started looking around for a bass that was easy to carry etc. that could be used with groups and clubs.  The Ash is fine for my purposes and I play it through a Marshall 15 watt combi. It is okay but the search for the best matching lightweight reasonably priced amp goes on.

I look forward to discussions on the Ash and theory.

Bro. Ray.
