Big Amp, Small Bass

Here's something for you guys and gals who use your Ashborys live.  Check out the Carvin LS1503A.  It's a powered PA cab that contains a 15" low woofer, a 6" mid woofer, and a horn loaded tweeter.  It's internally triamped with 300, 75, 50 watts RMS, respectively. It weighs 63 lbs.  The Ashbory's internal preamp is hot enough to drive the power amp and the mid driver ensures that it won't get lost in the mix.  I use mine with a Zoom preamp for bass guitar, as well.  Unfortunately, I never could get the hang of my Ashbory (it wouldn't stay in tune and I couldn't intonate without starring at my hands the whole time), but I know for a fact that if you can overcome these hurdles the Ashbory and this amp are awesome!

Regards,

HJ
