I hadn't even picked up a bass for five years and was lookin' to get a short scale to get my fingers workin' again and stumbled across the Ashbory on eBay. Anyways I ended up ordering one from here and a set of poly strings from the bass uke guy. I don't know if I'll be able to get a good enough "Classic Rock" sound out of it for gigs but it sure will be fun to dabble with on the couch! I did drag out one of my old basses after ordering this little guy and I guess it won't take more than a couple weeks to get my left hand "stretch" back anyways - not as bad as I remembered :).

Anyways I just unboxed my new Ashbory and wanted to thank Brock for makin' sure I got a good 'un  8).
