"..from Europe" because I'm an Englishman living mostly in Italy. I like to have an instrument back at the hotel to relax with when I'm on the road (I mostly tour theatres) and so have been playing the Uke because of its size and simplicity but I've been wanting to return to schooldays passion for the bass for years. Saw the Ashbory and couldn't think of any more excuses for not buying one and getting back into it.
I've only had it for a week but all those years thinking about it have developed into a slow burning passion. I am really enjoying playing it, even at my beginners level.
