Sambient's newbie questions part one: lefty
« on: October 09, 2009, 01:02:19 PM »

I need a good recommendation as to what I should use to make my little fret-mark dots along the side. What holds up most effectively without sullying the appearance too much?

Also, before I develop a really bad habit, how likely am I to ruin the jack output if I play with the Ashbory in my lap in a somewhat upright fashion? Right now I'm playing through a Vox headphone bass amp. I know when I properly plug in I will get a right angle jack. But I do anticipate finding myself in this comfortable, but non-deliberate, playing mode of the butt end sitting atop a thigh.

If you think you'll be putting stress, on the jack, you might try using a cable with a 90 degree end on it. Ideally then you wont be resting on the jack at all.

Just an idea.
