Using a DI box?

How does the Ashbory sound if you use a DI into a mixer, or a foot pedal amp sim like a Zoom?

Opinions will vary, but I find the Ashbory works best direct. I have a tube preamp that I run with bass guitars and I bypass it with the Ashbory.

I usually find that the more direct, the better with the Ashbory.

Thanks, Brock. Really appreciate the effort you put into this. I'll be ordering shortly. BTW, I've seen Ashborys in red; is there a reason Lrge Sound doesn't carry them?
