I have been playing around with my new Ashbory, and so far so good.  I've been playing 4 string fretted basses for the last 10 years, so a small scale fretless has been a bit of an adjustment.  After a couple of weeks of practice, I am starting to get the hang of it.  Love the fact that I don't have to reach as far for the notes.  I also love the unique sound that it can bring to my repertoire.
