another European
« on: April 05, 2010, 09:40:33 AM »

Hi folks

Pleased to be here (and to have a reason to be here :) ).  I'm in southern Britain (on the south coast).  I used to play cello (a long time ago); I've had a four-string electric bass guitar for a couple of years.

I've had my Ashbory for a little under a week; still letting the strings bed in (I'm being very cautious about the G string).

Mine's "made in Indonesia"; build quality seems decent apart from the back panel, which is very plasticky.

Once I get it up + running, I'll demo it for my mates.  I expect at least one of them to buy one as a result :)

And, guess what...

I got in from work this evening, and the damn thing has three strings.

As I'm European too, please allow me to post my howdy in this thread :)
