Showing my A at work
« on: April 26, 2010, 02:47:11 AM »

I brought my Ashbory to work on Friday, and couldn't believe all the comments.  One of my good friends is a bass player and he was just amazed at the tone of the bass (he put his ear close to listen).  Another guy was snapping shots with his cell phone.  A few others couldn't believe that it was a bass.  One person wondered if it was a toy.  Man, I haven't even gigged with it yet; can't wait to see the reactions when I do.

I keep one at work. I have one of those Roland Micro bass cubes that takes batteries. At lunchtime we hang out in the back of the place and play a few tunes ;D

This inspired me, I now take my bass to work and practice during my afternoon break.  So much better than sitting around and talking about the weather everyday.
